OnLine. In addition, users can register items of personal property
(cellphones, PDA, laptop computers, et al) online.
Records of registered property that have been entered online are downloaded with the click of a menu button. They are then transferred into the onsite database. An registration acknowledgment is automatically prepared and can be e-mailed to the registrant at this point. Onsite personnel can provide property registration services for walk-in registrants as well. For an example of the onsite property registration form, please click here. Note that the form can be printed as documentation for the individual that the property has been registered, or an e-mail acknowledgement (click here) can be sent. As records of "Found" items are entered into Returnity OnLine PR, the software automatically searches for a matching item in the table of registered property. If a match is found, onsite personnel are notified, the matching property registration record is made available, and an e-mail notifying the property's owner their property has been recovered is automatically prepared (click here).
